Weber Shandwick takes on PR duties for UAE’s Mashreq Bank

Mashreq Bank has appointed Weber Shandwick to manage its PR in the region. The move comes as the Bank ends its 50th year celebratio­ns and looks to the future, it said.

A statement said: “The relationsh­ip will see the agency – part of the Middle East Communicat­ions Network (MCN) – work closely with the bank’s in-house team to develop closer and more productive relationsh­ips with the region’s media, and solidify its position as the region’s most progressiv­e and innovative community focused bank.”

The account was previously with Hill & Knowlton Strategies.
