Racha Makarem named as regional CEO of Publicis Media’s Starcom
Racha Makarem will become the new regional CEO of Publicis Groupe’s Starcom media agency from January 1, 2019.
In a statement, the Groupe said: “As a business, we understand the complex transformation our clients are going through to capture profitable growth and build relevance in the fast evolving landscape of tomorrow. It is with this in mind that Publicis Media has invested in transformative talent to build our capabilities across strategy, digital, data, analytics and insights, which drive more informed business decisions.”
Makarem has been with Publicis Media for 15 years. She was head of the analytics and insights practice, and more recently managing director of the data science practice.
Publicis said: “Racha has continually delivered results driven solutions based on the complex insights of data across the entire Publicis Media client portfolio.”
Makarem is a board member at IAB MENA, and was a technical consultant with the committee working on television audience measurement in the region.
