Hypermedia owner forms W Ventures holding group
Out- of- home media company Hypermedia is now majority owned by a newly founded holding group, W Ventures, which has interests across the regional marketing and communications industry.
W Ventures was founded by Hypermedia owner Habib Wehbi, who said in a statement: “The main impetus for creating a holding company was to group together innovative and cutting-edge companies that could offer our clients a holistic, 360-degree approach for all their marketing and communication needs. Under the W Ventures umbrella, a client can now receive various services, including OOH media, communication strategies, experiential marketing, activations, and more, all with the best technology and innovations the industry has to offer.”
All the companies within the group are managed by individual teams, but are able to support one another to provide what the group calls “a onestop shop for solutions for clients”.
Founded in 1999, Hypermedia operates a variety of outdoor, instore and in-mall advertising in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and the Levant.
A sister company under W Ventures is Digitall, a consultancy service specialising in digital content and integrated solutions.
On December 5, W Ventures will officially be launching RedPeg Middle East in the region. The USbased experiential marketing company “is known for creating inti- mate bonds between brands and their people, while helping to cement brand presence through manifesting lasting memories with their public,” said W Ventures. “It creates experiences with measurable ROI and KPIs and has dealt with clients such as Amazon and Accenture. RedPeg Middle East offers a fresh approach that will guide many brands on getting the necessary connection needed for longevity in the market.”
W Ventures has invested in Rely Industries, which boasts the largest factory in Jebel Ali and has state-ofthe-art manufacturing capabilities, including 3D printing and large-format production. It produces display and merchandising units, exhibition stands, light boxes, signages, shop-inshop units, kiosks and more
W Ventures has also acquired Printlink, which perfrms large-scale digital printing on all kinds of materials, particularly installation and maintenance services.
The holding group has other investments as well.
