Promotions at OMG and MCN
Farah Moumneh is named UAE general manager at OMD, and Jad Hindy is made regional managing director at MRM//McCann.
FARAH MOUMNEH has been named OMD’s general manager for the UAE market, following her strong track record in leading OMD’s strategy and analytics offering, and contributing to key clients’ growth since 2007.
She has been instrumental in transforming OMD’s product and coaching its talent to deliver on the company’s promise of being strategic, performance-led and innovative. Throughout her career, she has worked across multiple businesses and sectors by leveraging data and insights to devise powerful strategies that have ultimately helped clients grow. Her hard work and dedication have been recognised with several accolades, culminating in OMDer of the Year in 2015. Her passion for building brands and producing futurefacing solutions has contributed to her successful growth within the company, including her appointment as head of strategy and analytics in 2017.
The Middle East Communications Network (MCN) has announced
JAD HINDY as the new regional managing director for MRM// McCann. The role has a remit of leading the digital-and- datacentric agency across the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey.
His challenge at MRM//McCann will revolve around the three key pillars that the agency is built on: the power of creativity, the magic of technology and the beauty of data. While the agency currently operates out of Dubai, MRM has offices across North and South America, Asia Pacific, and Europe. Hindy will have the responsibility to expand MRM//McCann’s footprint across the Middle East region.
He has worked on some of the biggest brands in the MENA Region including Saudi Telecom, Jawwy, Ooredoo (Qtel), Du, Etisalat, P&G, Virgin Mobile, Red Bull, Unilever, McDonald’s, EmiratesNBD,and more. In his last role, Hindy led the innovation and digital teams for FP7/McCann across the MENAT region.
Socialize has appointed BRITTANY WICKERSON as media strategy director to lead and grow the agency’s media offering and oversee key clients such as Volkswagen, GEMS Education and Dubai Expo 2020.
With more than 10 years of digital marketing experience, Wickerson most recently headed up the global performance media team at Hootsuite in Canada. In her new role she will be responsible for advancing the agency’s performance media practice and championing the effective use of data in planning and assessing the value of socially-led campaigns.
