1. BAHRAIN: An­other celebrity chef is head­ing to Cap­i­tal Club Bahrain. Al­varo Gar­rido is the next to make a three-day pit stop at the pri­vate city club sit­u­ated in the heart of the fi­nan­cial dis­trict. Stu­dents and guests will get the op­por­tu­nity to learn and taste the best of the Span­ish Basque rea­son when Gar­rido stops by from Novem­ber 6-8. Cap­i­tal Club gen­eral man­ager Sumeet Jhin­gan added that “lo­cal Bahraini farms have am­ple rich pro­duce that chef Al­varo will be able to choose from to cre­ate hearty dishes".

2. KUWAIT: Al­ghanim In­dus­tries, one of the largest pri­vately owned com­pa­nies in the re­gion, will bring a num­ber of the in­ter­na­tional brands it rep­re­sents to As­sima Mall, part of the As­sima Project set to of­fi­cially launch next year in Kuwait. Al­ghanim will bring Costa Cof­fee, Lon­don’s most pop­u­lar cof­fee shop chain to the visi­tors of As­sima Mall. Ad­di­tion­ally, the com­pany will open a branch of Wendy’s, with its sig­na­ture 100% An­gus beef square burg­ers and wide range of sand­wiches. 3. OMAN: The Oman Min­istry of Tourism will sup­port the much talked-about food fes­ti­val Muscat Eat. To be held from Novem­ber 15 to 17 at the Al Mouj Golf (GCM Lawn), Muscat Eat is com­ing back for its sec­ond sea­son to fea­ture au­then­tic tra­di­tional Omani cuisines along­side the most pop­u­lar dishes in the world. A to­tal of 15,500 food lovers from Oman and neigh­bour­ing com­mu­ni­ties flocked to the event’s first sea­son. At least 50 lo­cal busi­ness own­ers show­cased their de­li­cious fares dur­ing the highly suc­cess­ful three-day event.

4. KSA: His Ex­cel­lency (H.E.) Eng. Ab­dul­rah­man bin Ab­dul­mohsen Al Fadley, Saudi Min­is­ter of En­vi­ron­ment, Wa­ter and Agri­cul­ture led the in­au­gu­ra­tion cer­e­monies of this year's edi­tion of the Saudi Agri­cul­ture Ex­hi­bi­tion 2018. The event aims to ser ve as a strate­gic plat­form to pro­mote the agri­cul­tural sec­tor, fall­ing in line with the di­rec­tives to en­hance sus­tain­able agri­cul­ture and ru­ral area de­vel­op­ment — open­ing new op­por­tu­ni­ties for em­ploy­ment, food se­cu­rity, and bal­anced de­vel­op­ment.

5. UAE: Nando’s UAE has ap­pointed Ge­orge Kun­nap­pally as man­ag­ing di­rec­tor as it con­tin­ues to ex­pand in the Mid­dle East mar­ket.
