Samer S. Hamadeh

LEBANESE FOUNDER, AEGIS HOSPITALITY NEW ENTRY

Caterer Middle East - - Special Report -

Samer Hamadeh is truly a child of the Middle East, growing up between Riyadh and Lebanon before moving to Dubai in 2004.

Carving out a career in live events, Hamadeh eventually turned his eye to hospitality with the launch of nightlife brand Republique in 2010. Since then he’s continued to disrupt the industry with restaurants like Akiba Dori, Tokyopolitan, and El Noctambulo all offering something different to the city.

Spotting a good thing when he sees it, Hamadeh is set to take Akiba Dori to Riyadh and Kuwait City in 2019, while Tokyopolitan is also expanding to Dubai Marina and Abu Dhabi. However, the concept creator/operator has bigger goals in mind, telling us he has an eye on China and “competing for a share in the world’s future biggest economy”.
