His three years with Deliveroo in the Mid­dle East has seen the food de­liv­ery plat­form grow to part­ner­ing with over 2,500 restau­rants, but Anis Harb has plans to dou­ble that num­ber in 2019.

One of the ways Harb and Deliveroo have in­no­vated the food de­liv­ery game has been the in­tro­duc­tion of the Edi­tions kitchens. Now brands don’t need to have an es­tab­lished brick and mor­tar store to reach their cus­tomers, with Deliveroo pro­vid­ing the kitchen and deal­ing with all the over­heads. It’s made it pos­si­ble for smaller con­cepts to reach out to whole new cus­tomer bases and is some­thing we could be see­ing much more of in the fu­ture.
