INDIAN CEO (MENA), LIWA MINOR FOOD & BEVERAGES NEW ENTRY
Ravi Chandran has spearheaded 24 F&B brands, but now he faces the challenge of spreading Australian all-day-dining café chain The Coffee Club across the Middle East.
When he started three years ago they had five branches, which has now increased to 25, with 45 expected by the end of 2019.
Chandran has done it by reducing food cost, reducing CAPEX by AED 0.5m per outlet, and implementing new employee training methods.
It has paid off, with the company on track to achieve full year operating profit within three years of opening and Chandran looking to acquire or franchise two more successful F&B brands.
