It has opened in the Millennium Plaza Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road
Copper Chimney, the Indian restaurant brand originally founded in 1972 in Bombay, has opened its first outlet in the UAE.
Opening on the ground floor of the Millennium Plaza Hotel on Dubai’s Sheikh Zayed Road, the 130-seat restaurant features an open kitchen and an interior with modern-day art deco inspired design.
Brand director of Copper Chimney, Shikha Nath said: "Over the past four decades, Copper Chimney has taken millions of guests on a culinary journey exploring and celebrating Indian cuisine, culture, and flavours.
"We are thrilled to be open in Dubai, and working with our franchise partners, Exquisite International Restaurants, to bring our flavours to this international dining destination. Copper Chimney has become a culinary landmark since its humble beginnings in Bombay and we hope to share some of those flavours here with the residents of Dubai and the rest of the UAE."
The brand already has three restaurants in Kuwait, with another set to open in the near future, as Copper Chimney aims to increase its foothold in the region with the help of Exquisite International Restaurants.
Abhijit Bose, F&B manager of Exquisite International Restaurants said: "EI Restaurants is proud of its association with Copper Chimney which is set to reignite the Indian cuisine in the region. We look forward to a resounding response from the UAE residents and tourists alike.”
Copper Chimney was founded by prominent Bollywood f ilmmaker and avid food connoisseur JK Kapur.
