Power 50 Chefs’ Dinner

Caterer Middle East and Tresind Studio welcomed the chefs from the 2019 Power 50 list for an evening of networking and great food

-

It’s not often that so many of the top chefs in the Middle East are altogether in one room, and it’s especially rare for it to be at an intimate dinner, but the chefs of Caterer Middle East’s Power 50 list managed it.

Tresind Studio, and the number three chef on the power list, Himanshu Saini, hosted fellow professionals for a taste of Saini’s upcoming exclusive tasting menu.

Joining on the night were the number one ranked chef Izu Ani of Gaia, Fika, and Aya fame, Brian Voelzing of Lincoln Hospitality, Emirati chef Khaled Al Saadi who has just opened Micro by PappaRoti in Dubai Mall, Alex Stumpf, the co-founder of BB Social Dining, and executive chef of the soon to open ME by Melia hotel, James Knight-Pacheco.

It was a chance for the chefs to network outside of the kitchen, with many of them knowing each other by reputation only before the dinner. With Saini’s expertly crafted Indian degustation menu serving as fuel, collaborations and promises to keep in touch were made so hopefully we will soon be seeing some of the region’s top chefs working together to put the Middle East even more on the culinary map.
