Sa­hara tea launches in the uae with ritz-carl­ton

The Canada based premium tea brand has signed a part­ner­ship with Ritz Carl­ton DIFC.

Speak­ing with Cater­ing News Mid­dle East at Gul­food 2018, Yvonne Robert­son, pres­i­dent, Sa­hara Tea said: “Our spe­cial­ity is blend­ing nat­u­ral and well­ness in­gre­di­ents to cre­ate a tea that will ben­e­fit the body and that is what we are show­cas­ing at Gul­food this year.

“We have five col­lec­tions and the most pop­u­lar one is our en­er­gis­ing col­lec­tion which is a caf­feine free com­bi­na­tion of in­gre­di­ents that will give you that daily dose of en­ergy,” she added.

Sa­hara tea prod­ucts can be used for more than just mak­ing tea ac­cord­ing to the pres­i­dent.

“Our in­gre­di­ents are all nat­u­ral and we have a strong part­ner­ship with chefs in North Amer­ica who also use our prod­ucts to bake mac­a­roons,” she added.

Com­ment­ing on their ex­pan­sion in the re­gion Robert­son said: “We are very ex­cited to be in the GCC. It has been a year in the mak­ing that we have de­vel­oped these re­la­tion­ships and are now part­ner­ing with The Ritz Carl­ton, DIFC. They will be launch­ing a Sa­hara Tea bou­tique in the spa of­fer­ing our en­tire line of ac­ces­sories.

“We have also se­cured a strong re­la­tion­ship with a lo­cal dis­trib­u­tor, Pearl Tree, who are sup­port­ing us to break into this mar­ket. We are cur­rently speak­ing with a num­ber of ho­tels and within the next 12-18 months we should have a strong stand­ing in premium ho­tels over here, “she added.
