Sup­ple tek aims for re­gional dom­i­na­tion

In­dian-based Sup­ple Tek In­dus­tries is not only con­fi­dent its new bas­mati rice line, Zeeba, will be a suc­cess – the com­pany is go­ing as far as plan­ning on be­com­ing the lead­ing name in the re­gion by 2020.

“We are the largest ex­porter of bas­mati rice with more than 500,000 tonne of rice be­ing ex­ported by Sup­ple Tek,” he said.

“We be­lieve in qual­ity, be­cause of that we are the big­gest ex­porter of bas­mati rice from India– we don’t com­pro­mise on qual­ity. Bas­mati rice is a grow­ing mar­ket in the UAE re­gion and that’s why we wanted to en­ter this sec­tor.”

Ram­neek Singh who is the founder and CMD of the com­pany was also present at Gul­food – an event that is prov­ing suc­cess­ful for his com­pany.

“It is a great ex­hi­bi­tion for us– al­most all of our buy­ers are here. It is a good hunt­ing ground for us as we get 40-50 buy­ers ev­ery year here,” he said.

“It helps us pro­mote the brand and gives us good recog­ni­tion.”
