WHAT IS YOUR LAT­EST PROD­UCT LAUNCH?

Dur­ing last year’s edi­tion of Gul­food Man­u­fac­tur­ing, Te­tra Pak launched Te­tra Fino asep­tic 100 ul­tra MIM (Mi­cro in­jec­tion moulding), Te­tra Pak high shear mixer R370-1000D and Patented Te­tra Pak ex­tru­sion wheel.

WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE?

Te­tra Fino asep­tic 100 ul­tra MIM is a new pack­age that al­lows dairy and juice drinks to be pro­duced and dis­trib­uted in small car­ton pouches at room tem­per­a­ture and sub­se­quently be turned into frozen prod­ucts in shops or in a con­sumer’s home al­low­ing for en­hanced flex­i­bil­ity. The car­ton-based pack­age pro­tects against light and oxy­gen, pre­serv­ing the fresh­ness, nu­tri­tion and taste of the food.

Te­tra Pak high shear mixer R370-1000D is a next gen­er­a­tion high shear in­line mixer that of­fers cus­tomers un­par­al­lelled in­gre­di­ent mix­ing per­for­mance and lower op­er­at­ing costs. The new mixer can han­dle in­gre­di­ents with up to 65% dry mat­ter, the high­est con­cen­tra­tion for in­fant for­mula pro­duc­tion. This cuts down the need for evap­o­ra­tion, an­other ex­pen­sive step in food pro­cess­ing, slash­ing costs by up to 90%.

Lastly, the Te­tra Pak ex­tru­sion wheel cre­ates stick ice cream prod­ucts with large in­clu­sions up to 25mm. The new ma­chine does not use the tra­di­tional cut­ting tech­nol­ogy, but in­stead has a num­ber of cav­i­ties on its outer sur­face in the same shape of the fi­nal prod­uct. With a ca­pac­ity of up to 200 prod­ucts per minute, the ma­chine en­sures con­sis­tent high-qual­ity ap­pear­ance of the prod­uct.
