In­ter­na­tion­ally ac­claimed Chef Masa­haru Mo­ri­moto has launched Mo­ri­moto Dubai, his first restau­rant in the coun­try.

The new venue will be lo­cated in the re­cently opened Re­nais­sance Down­town Ho­tel of­fer­ing an ever-chang­ing se­lec­tion of seafood which is drawn from mar­kets around the world, in­clud­ing de­liv­er­ies di­rectly from Tokyo’s famed Tsuk­iji and Fukuoka fish mar­kets.

Em­body­ing the chef’s culi­nary style, Mo­ri­moto Dubai’s menu will fea­ture sev­eral of the Chef’s sig­na­ture dishes, as well as tra­di­tional sushi served from a 24-seat sushi counter and a live tep­pa­nyaki counter headed by a tep­pan chefs from Mo­ri­moto’s Miche­lin-starred restau­rant in Ja­pan.

The venue’s ex­pan­sive space boasts floor-to-ceil­ing win­dows, show­cas­ing the Dubai sky­line view for din­ers. Both lev­els fea­ture out­door ter­races, in­clud­ing ded­i­cated bars and lounge seat­ing.

Guests look­ing to ex­pe­ri­ence a more in­ti­mate set­ting can en­joy a meal in one of the in­di­vid­u­ally de­signed pri­vate din­ing rooms, which can ac­com­mo­date up to 22 guests or un­wind at the cen­tre stage bar which of­fers a menu cu­rated by Shingo Gokan.

Guests vis­it­ing in the first weeks can ex­pect to catch a glimpse of Iron Chef Mo­ri­moto him­self, who is set to visit his Dubai team ev­ery few months for con­tin­ued coach­ing and menu de­vel­op­ment.
