BER­LUTI AND FER­RARI PAIR UP

BER­LUTI AND FER­RARI HAVE COL­LAB­O­RATED on a lim­ited edi­tion col­lec­tion, de­signed to meet the needs of the gen­tle­man driver and in­spired by the re­cently launched Fer­rari Monza SP1 and Monza SP2.

The Fer­rari Lim­ited Edi­tion was co-de­signed by Ber­luti and Fer­rari, bring­ing to­gether the brands’ shared com­mit­ment to el­e­gance, per­for­mance and in­no­va­tion – build­ing on Fer­rari’s her­itage and cel­e­brated aes­thet­ics and Ber­luti’s knowhow and crafts­man­ship.

The col­lec­tion con­sists of three dif­fer­ent mod­els – a slip-on, an Ox­ford and a Chelsea boot –in­spired by the iconic Fer­rari ve­hi­cles as well as stitch­ing pat­terns in­spired by those used in the ve­hi­cles. A dis­tinc­tive grip so­lu­tion in­serted in the sole re­calls the very same so­lu­tion used by the Pranc­ing Horse on its en­gines.

The lim­ited edi­tion mod­els also present a car­bon-in­serted sole pro­jected and de­vel­oped with Fer­rari for this ex­clu­sive col­lec­tion. Specif­i­cally de­signed to max­i­mize driv­ing and com­fort, it uses the very same Plain Twill 2x2 car­bon fiber Fer­rari uses in its ve­hi­cles.

All mod­els fea­ture a Fer­rari red pip­ing de­tail in the heels, un­der­scor­ing the Pranc­ing Horse.

The col­lec­tion will be avail­able from this month in Ber­luti’s Dubai Mall store, the brand’s largest flag­ship out­let in the re­gion, which opened last month.

To cel­e­brate the launch, Ber­luti also un­veiled a lim­ited-edi­tion de­sign of the Lorenzo loafer – with only 50 pieces avail­able - flaunt­ing an em­bossed sole that reads, “Dubai Mall Lim­ited Edi­tion”. – Jeremy Lawrence
