Ap­ple un­veils high-end iPhone XS and XS Max

Ap­ple has un­veiled three new iPhones, as ex­pected with two new high end phones, in­clud­ing a 6.5inch screen, and a more af­ford­able model.

The new launches are the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max, which Ap­ple says are the most ad­vanced iPhones ever; and the iPhone XR with 6.1 inch screen which will sell for AED3,179 up­wards.

All three mod­els of­fer the first Dual SIM iPhone, through the use of a nano-SIM and dig­i­tal eSIM, and run on Ap­ple’s new A12 Bionic chip and iOS12.

The 5.8-inch iPhone XS and 6.5-inch iPhone XS Max fea­ture Su­per Retina dis­plays, a faster and im­proved dual cam­era sys­tem with new photo and video fea­tures.

The new Xs and XS Max will be avail­able to pre-or­der from Fri­day 14th Septem­ber, and on sale from 21st Septem­ber. The iPhone XS and XS Max will be avail­able in 64GB, 256GB and 512GB ca­pac­ity mod­els in space gray, sil­ver and gold fin­ish start­ing at AED 4,229 and AED 4,649.

The phones build on the all-screen de­sign of iPhone X and fea­ture Su­per Retina dis­plays with a cus­tom OLED de­sign sup­port Dolby Vi­sion and HDR10 and have iOS sys­tem-wide colour man­age­ment.

The Ap­ple-de­signed A12 Bionic, is the first 7-nanome­ter chip ever in a smart­phone, with a six-core fu­sion ar­chi­tec­ture with two per­for­mance cores that are up to 15 per­cent faster, four ef­fi­ciency cores that are up to 50 per­cent more ef­fi­cient, a four-core GPU that is up to 50 per­cent faster, pow­er­ful Ap­pledesigned Im­age Sig­nal Pro­ces­sor (ISP), video en­coder and more.

The next-gen­er­a­tion Neu­ral En­gine is built for ad­vanced ma­chine learn­ing in ev­ery­thing from pho­tog­ra­phy to aug­mented re­al­ity.

The iPhone XS and XS Max will be avail­able in 64GB, 256GB and 512GB ca­pac­ity.
