Gartner has revealed seven digital disruptions that organisations may not be prepared for, and which could create new opportunities, business models and companies.

Daryl Plummer, vice president and Gartner Fellow said that these upcoming disruptions are harder to deal with for companies.

“The single largest challenge facing enterprises and technology providers today is digital disruption,” said Plummer. “The virtual nature of digital disruptions makes them much more difficult to deal with than past technology-triggered disruptions,” he said.
