In what was a sig­nal of what was to come, tech­nol­ogy giant Dell EMC un­veiled an am­bi­tious plan to pre­pare chan­nel part­ners for a stor­age rev­o­lu­tions as the vendor was de­ter­mined to stor­age share losses with a new ag­gres­sive “refuse to lose” sales strat­egy. Re­gional VAD As­bis named Faraz Khan as the new mar­ket­ing man­ager, while Cisco ap­pointed Hani Raad as the new gen­eral man­ager to drive dig­i­tal trans­for­ma­tion in the re­gion. We also re­ported that Dell EMC had ce­mented its midrange stor­age ar­ray.
