Get ready for Kenny Sebastian in Dubai!

-

Combining live music, sketches and stand up, the animated Kenny Sebastian arrives to Dubai with his latest quirky performance on Thursday, March 9 at DUCTAC. Kenny is the second artist performing in Laugh-a-thon, a new urban Indian comedy series, that launched this month with a hilarious performance by the talented Kanan Gill on February 17. Kenny Sebastian will be followed by Biswa Rath bringing an April Fool’s special on April 1 and the season closes with prominent comic Abish Mathew on May 13.

26-year-old Kenny Sebastian made waves on the Indian comedy scene with his keen sense of observation of culture, people and stereotypes. He has performed in over 500 shows in the last five years, has written and hosted a show on Comedy Central that completed its first season recently. He has also released over four comedy specials online, along with India’s first sci-fi comedy web series.

After hitting his ‘quarter-life crisis’, Kenny’s latest stand up takes the audience through his ironic and confusing transition to adulthood and relationships sprinkled with baffling questions to the universe about growing old, topped with a truckload of hysterical music.

Talking about performing Don’t be that guy in Dubai, Kenny Sebastian said, “I am excited to perform in Dubai given the nation’s massive youth population. Don’t be that

guy really delves into the banal laughable experiences we all face and I am certain that it will get people reminiscing their 20s with a fresh perspective.”

Sebastian’s show will be headlined by local comedienne Jyotsna Lakhiani, who started off her comic career at ducomedy last year.
