1 SALMAN’S FAMILY IN ABU DHABI
Salman Khan will have a three-day birthday celebration for his nephew Ahil in Abu Dhabi. He is in the capital for a while to shoot for Race 3 and his family will join him to bring in the birthday of the youngest member of the Khan family. It will be strictly a family only affair with Salma and Salim Khan, Helen, Arbaaz, his son Arhaan, Sohail and his family, Alvira and Atul Agnihotri, Ahil’s parents Ayush and Arpita and Aayush’s parents Anil and Sunita Sharma. But we won’t be surprised if Salman’s Race 3 costars Jacquelien Fernandes, Daisy Shan and Anil Kapoor also join in the celebration. Indian newspaper Mid-Day reports that apart from lunches and dinners, the family will also go for a desert safari. Happy Birthday, lil Ahil.
2 VARUN AND IMTIAZ TO TEAM UP?
We are super excited to hear that Varun Dhawan and Imtiaz Ali might team up very soon for a movie project. Together, they will possibly form a strong team with Imtiaz’s impressive storytelling and Varun’s hit machine formula and easy charm. They have been meeting regularly to discuss the story line. Imtiaz had formed a solid team with Ranbir Kapoor for Rockstar and Tamasha but then the Highway director moved on to Shah Rukh Khan with Jab Harry Met Sejal. But alas, their collaboration failed at the box office and now Imtiaz wants to join hand with the blockbuster hero Varun. The actor is currently promoting October with director Shoojit Sircar. He is also shooting for Sui Dhaga with Anushka Sharma. Post which, he will begin Shiddat with Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapoor. This film will be produced under the banner of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
3 TIGER AND DISHA: A LOVERS’ TIFF?
Looks like there is a little fight going on between Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani. They are working together for the first time in Baaghi 2. And it seems that Disha is upset that she is not being involved in the promotional part of the movie as much as Tiger. Apparently, she believes that Tiger is getting all the attention and is also stealing her share of the limelight. Well, they are both young and want their share of attention. We understand this tension. But Disha, that’s part and parcel of being the lady love of a movie star. Remember, much before Anushka Sharma got married, she had said that she would never date an actor because she would hate it if he looked into the mirror more than her. Vanity and attention matters for both genders in the film industry!
4 WHAT ARE YOU UP TO, DEEPIKA?
After Padmaavat, it is indeed confirmed that Deepika Padukone is the royal queen of the Hindi film industry. After the release of Sanjay Leela Bhansali historical drama, it was confirmed that the Piku actress will star in Vishal Bharadwaj’s untitled gangster drama with Irrfan Khan. But after the unfortunate news of Irrfan’s illness, Vishal has postponed the movie until the actor is healthy. We heard that Deepika was offered the sequel to her Hollywood film XxX: Return of Xander Cage with Vin Diesel but she is not keen to be part of the movie. We wonder what will our favourite actress sign up next ....
