Everything around us is transitory. The world around you will change and so will the energies that surround you. There are no cures in Feng Shui that will be effective forever. If you accept this dynamic aspect of Feng Shui then you would have understood the science well.

Many follow Feng Shui principles which are splashed all over the Internet. Some of the tips on the Internet are downright bizarre. The socalled Feng Shui experts ask you to place water in the North or fire in the South to enhance career or money. All the directions are associated with one area of life and by enhancing these directions your life will improve. There are two things fundamentally wrong here. Number one, this kind of Feng Shui belief does not take into consideration the changing aspect of time. Therefore, to believe that North or South will represent certain areas of your life forever is a wrong belief. Secondly this kind of Feng Shui is not personalised and does not take into account the dates of births of the people residing in the property. As a result, such changes are more of a shot in the dark than actual Feng Shui.

To understand Feng Shui you must know that Feng Shui will change every time there is change in the energies within your surroundings. According to Flying Star School Of Feng Shui, major energy change happens every twenty years. Therefore, while buying a home or an office, you need to check the Feng Shui for current period and future periods. In addition to that you also need to match the individual dates of births of all residents with the Feng Shui of the home. Based on the date of birth, kua number can be derived which will indicate four good and bad directions for every individual. Once you have the necessary information only then Feng Shui changes can be suggested. Feng Shui can always be implemented in your surroundings. As long as you understand that the energy changes every few years, you are good to go.
