Imran to dIrect SIdharth?
1 We told you long back that Aamir Khan’s actor-nephew Imran Khan, whose acting career failed to take off after repeated attempts, is planning to turn director. He was last seen in Katti Batti with Kangana Ranaut in 2015. There are unofficial reports claiming that he might act with Aamir in the remake of Mahabharata. We now hear that Imran is ready to don the director’s hat for a sociopolitical satire and there are chances that Sidharth Malhotra will play the leading man. Sidharth’s last few films like Aiyaari,
A Gentleman, Ittefaq and Baar Baar Dekho flopped at the box office. Whereas Imran’s last few films like
Katti Batti, Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola failed to create any spark at the box office and were also slammed by the critics.
2 one’S traSh, another’S caSh
Priyanka Chopra recently left Salman Khan starrer Bharat. Her rumoured engagement to American singer Nick Jonas was cited as the reason for her exit from the movie. Soon after news came that Priyanka has signed a Hollywood action film Cowboy
Ninja Viking with Chris Pratt. It is being rumoured that Priyanka was not happy that the second lead Disha Patani’s character was required to look young and hot in Bharat, which may not have reflected well for her own role. Also, Priyanka made it clear that she wouldn’t share publicity posters with Tiger Shroff’s girlfriend. After Priyanka’s exit from the film, we hear that director Ali Abbas has increased the length of Disha’s role. Meanwhile, Priyanka has completed her Hollywood film Isn’t It Romantic with Chris Hemsworth. She will also reunite with Farhan Akhtar to play the parents of Aisha Chaudhary, a teenage motivational speaker who died of pulmonary fibrosis, in Shonali Bose’s biographical drama The Sky Is Pink.

Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan’s debut film Kedarnath with Sushant Singh Rajput is yet to release but she already has a big budget second movie, Simmba, in her kitty opposite Ranveer Singh. There is a buzz in the industry that the father and daughter are looking forward to working together in a movie and have already started listening to scripts together. Apparently, they have liked a slice of life drama film idea with the Filmistaan director Nitin Kakkar in which they will play father and daughter.

While Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are enjoying their new found love on the sets of Brahmastra., their mothers, Neetu Kapoor and Soni Razdan, have become BFFs on social media, constantly giving love to each other and their kids. But it seems that Alia’s ex-boyfriend Sidharth Malhotra is not happy post the break up with his Student of the Year co-star. Apparently, he ignored her when they met each other at a party recently and he did not even respond to Alia’s message when she sent him birthday wishes.
