Venues across Dubai are marking this Eid with spectacular firework displays. Festival Bay at Dubai Festival City will play host to extravagant music with fireworks at 9pm every evening, on August 22 and 23; you can also catch the fireworks at The Beach (9:15pm), La Mer (9.30pm) and Al Seef (9pm) during the three-day Eid festivities (August 21-23).

CRAZY DRUMMERS
The Crazy Drummers are a widely acclaimed travelling Ukrainian group, set to drum up a strident beat throughout City Walk during this Eid (August 21-24). Another roaming act to put on the list is The Black and White show of juggling and acrobatics, magic and mayhem, dance and pantomime. From 4pm onwards, come one, come all!

The cherished grandfatherly figure from Arabian Folklore, Sheibitna, comes to Dubai Mall in the Souk Atrium this Eid to share stories and words of wisdom for the whole family, on Tuesday. People’s Poetry
