YOU DON’T NEED us to explain the insanely popular food festivals, which bestride both Dubai and the capital each year. The annual get-togethers celebrating the best in cuisine and entertainment are famous enough. All we will say is this weekend, November 7 to 9, it is Yas Island’s turn to host Taste of Abu Dhabi and what a good spread they have planned.
Headline acts UB40 and Boyzlife (Boyzone’s Keith Duffy and Westlife’s Brian Mcfadden) will take to the main stage at du Arena, the International Food Sampling Pavilion with a free selection of exemplary delicacies and the best organic and fresh produce in the Middle East is open for the first time and a host of well-known names from the cooking world will be in attendance. We spoke to two of them: Masterchef India judge Kunal Kapur and the Michelin-starred Jean-christophe Novelli to find out more.
