SALMAN KHAN, ALONG with his Da-bangg gang, delivered a highoctane show on Friday, one that fans will not forget in a long time. Billed as one of the biggest Bollywood shows to hit town, it lived up to its ‘magical’ tag as promised by Salman ahead of the show.

The massive line-up featuring actors Katrina Kaif, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonakshi Sinha, Daisy Shah, Aayush Sharma, and singers Guru Randhawa and Kamaal Khan performed at Dubai’s Cocacola Arena as a part of the much-awaited Da-bangg The Tour Reloaded concert that’s been around the world.

At the Arena, the atmosphere was charged with the buzz of the crowd, high decibel music, dazzling lights, and of course the stars setting the stage afire with their entertaining acts. And all this put together made for an extremely entertaining evening loaded with typical Bollywood glitz and glamour that ran into nearly four hours of non-stop dance and music.

Flaunting a studded sleeveless colourful leather jacket that showed his bulging biceps, paired with black trousers, Salman made his grand entry on stage with his typical swagger among deafening cheers, claps and whistles from the crowd. Right from his first dance step, he had the audience eating out of his hands. He won many hearts with his energetic and delightful performance dancing to hits from his movies like Dabangg, Bharat, and Tiger Zinda Hai as well as popular songs from his earlier films like Maine Pyar Kiya, and more.

“Namaste, Asalaam Alaikum, Sat Sri Kaal, hello Dubai,” said Salman, to the response of thunderous clapping and non-stop cheering from the crowd.

The show started with a couple of warm-up acts, sets the pace at Da-bangg The Tour Reloaded in Dubai with his peppy performance. The moment he stepped on stage, the star broke into his dance routines with gusto moving to numbers like as well as his past hits. He also surprised the audience with his bare torso act as he was leaving the stage.

Prabudeva showcased his famous dance moves swaying to the beats of A.R. Rahman’s classic song.

including UAE teenage star Rashed Belhasa, aka Moneykicks’ debut song We Living Life sung by S1 at the show.

Following that, host Manish Paul took to the stage with his unique Da-bangg hip-hop number through which he introduced the entire cast of the show. Aayush Sharma number

was the first to take to the stage with Garba steps not unlike the ones in his movie Loveyatri – Chogada, Dholida and more. Next up was Daisy Shah who looked splendid in white and was among the most talented dancers of the evening. She was followed by Prabhudeva, Jacqueline, who is best remembered for his superhit did what he does best.

Sonakshi, Katrina, Salman, and singers Guru Randhawa and Kamaal Khan.

Though the pace of the show was a tad slow in the beginning, with ‘blank gaps’ between acts making the gig lose its grip over the audience, it picked up the pace and moved into fifth gear once Salman won hearts with his lively renditions of Punjabi numbers.

stepped on stage with his highoctane performance.

Kudos to the actor for keeping the energy going high right till curtains came down just before midnight. His entry on stage transformed the entire dynamics of the gig and he made the audience stand up and dance to every tune of

his. While we would have enjoyed the show better had we a clearer view from front (we were seated on the side of the stage), nevertheless, we did feel the pulse of the crowd from our corner and joined fans in applauding Salman and the Da-bangg gang for putting on a memorable show.
