Ariana sings Whitney hit in self-isolation

-

ARIANA GRANDE IS WHILING away her days of social distancing in the wake of Covid-19 by paying musical tribute to an iconic singer.

The singer has posted her version of Whitney’s iconic hit I Believe In You And Me on Instagram, and fans are simply loving it.

The black-and-white, grainy video was dropped by Ariana on March 19, and it has gone viral since then. Shot stylishly, the video does not reveal Ariana’s face but fans will instantly make out her voice.

Fans are thrilled, of course. According to a report in hollywoodlife.com, Rupaul’s Drag Race star Shangela commented: “You can be the Preacher. I’ll be the wife! I LOVE TO HEAR U SINGING THIS BOO! Love love love.”

The Glee Project star Tyler Ford wrote: “Whew, we are lucky to have you on earth.”

Fans have been guessing where Ariana is right now, because the video doesn’t clearly show her location. However, the singer is known to reside in California mostly, a state that is under the “stay at home” order right now, according to hollywood.com.

Meanwhile, the singer has filed for a restraining order against an obsessed fan.

She filed legal documents on Friday, seeking temporary protection from a 20-something man, who was arrested outside her Los Angeles home, reports aceshowbiz.com.

He managed to sneak past the star’s security detail and made his way to her front door. He was taken into custody and booked for misdemeanour trespassing and felony battery - for reportedly spitting at the arresting officers.

According to tmz.com, sources say Grande’s mother is also seeking court-ordered protection from the man.

Grande was also caught up in a swatting hoax earlier this month, when police had to investigate a report of gunshots fired at her home.
