Nancy Ajram heads to Tiktok for concert
Star performing live on the app on Thursday
Lebanese superstar Nancy Ajram is about to host her first ‘magical show’’ exclusively on the shortform video app, Tiktok. The live performance will be live streamed on the platform on August 6 at 10pm (Dubai Time) and will see Ajram deliver a playful and uplifting performance to fans across the world.
Celebrating an iconic regional superstar, the live concert comes off the back of Nancy Ajram’s announcement to join the platform to create inspiring content and spread joy to her followers through easy-to-use video capturing and editing tools. She announced the news by sharing a creative video on Instagram and Twitter co-starring with her three daughters, Mila Ella and Lia.
Nancy seems to have kept herself busy as Covid-19 necessitated self-isolation and staying home around the world.
She performed an Eid concert on May 26 in Beirut, at a private location without an audience, as part of a ‘Hope Beyond Borders’ #Withme concert that was broadcast on her Youtube channel.
She was also part of the celebrities who applauded frontline workers fighting coronavirus in Lebanon, posting a Twitter video of herself standing on a balcony with her husband, and writing alongside, “Whatever we do, it won’t be enough.”
Nancy, who was born and raised in Achrafieh, Beirut, Lebanon, has been performing since she was a child and is immensely popular in the UAE. She has been a judge on reality show since 2013, and on
since 2016. Nancy and her family were prominently in the news in January this year when an intruder broke into their Beirut home and was allegedly shot and killed by her husband Fadi al-hashem.
The incident is the subject of a new documentary, which released on July 16 on Arabic streaming service Shahidvip.
