SPOTLIGHT ON SANIPEX
GUY WILSON, THE LEADING BATHROOM BRAND’S MANAGING DIRECTOR – TRADE AND PROJECTS, MEA, TALKS ABOUT HIS FIRM’S OFFERINGS IN THE REGION
Tell us about your company. Established in 1995, Sanipex Group has been built upon trust and collaboration with designers, developers, contractors and retailers. With our own Bagnodesign and Aquazone brands, Sanipex Group is able to compete for any project by being able to offer a solution irrespective of design, aesthetics or budget. What are some of your company’s bestselling products and your latest launches? Bagnodesign’s brand new brassware finish for 2018 is the appropriately named ‘Zanzibar’; offering a modern reinvention of the traditional brass finish, with a light, soft-brushed gold tone, reflecting the precious metals historically used across the region. Which projects have you been involved in? Jumeirah Al Naseem Hotel, JW Marriott Marquis, Palazzo Versace, Taj Downtown, Marriott Renaissance, Nikki Beach Hotel, and Caesars Palace Bluewaters. What challenges did these projects present? All of these projects presented challenges in different ways – from special finishes to custom-made bathtubs and unique stone washbasins – we were able to provide solutions to the satisfaction of all stakeholders. It goes without saying that tight construction schedules require professional supply chain management and perfect coordination to ensure the right products are delivered to site on time, and in the right sequence. We are proud to have fulfilled the individual demands of each of these projects, and take pride in our association with these prestigious Dubai projects.
