The Orphic co-founder AMNA ALMUALLA on a fashionable holiday in Los Angeles

Condé Nast Traveller Middle East - - How To Pack -

STAY

“Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills is a favourite as the staff pay close attention to detail, the spa is excellent and the rooms are spacious with contemporary décor – it’s a feel-good stay. Also, the hotel’s pancakes are the best ever.”

EAT

“If you’re chasing Hollywood dreams, The Ivy is wonderful with its rustic outdoor space that mimics those gorgeous outdoor lunches in movies. The lobster ravioli is a must-try here. Joan’s on Third is another favourite place for breakfast. They have one of the best croissants with egg.”

SHOP

“With the range and variety at Saks Fifth Avenue and Barneys, they’re easy choices. Barneys has a range of perfumes that’s exclusive to them, which is why it’s my favourite place for fragrances. At Saks, I love to shop for shoes because they have an incredibly varied collection.”

DO

“I recommend the Hollywood Walk of Fame and Santa Monica Pier. The Walk of Fame is great for first-time visitors, covered in celebrity stars, and you can also find the Hollywood Wax Museum and Guinness World Records Museum there. Santa Monica Pier has the best view, and given the weather it’s an ideal spot for a stroll.”
