What’s your dream summer destination? Anywhere in Italy.

What are your summer wardrobe essentials? Blue-striped swimsuits, white linen shirts and pants, espadrilles.

What are your recommended beach reads? I usually listen to music on the beach but I would recommend Rainbow Rainbow by Lydia Conklin and Jasmine and Fire: A Bittersweet Year in Beirut by Salma Abdelnour

What’s in your beach bag? Sunscreen, headphones, striped beach towel, water and a protein bar.

What’s been your best alfresco meal? Bitterballen – a meaty Dutch snack – washed down with a glass of chilled white grape.
