Hello!

Cosmopolitan Middle East - - EDITOR’S LETTER - KAVITA SRINIVASAN EDITOR IN CHIEF

I spent my 20s far from obsessed with makeup. All I needed was a trusty foundation, my lip stain from The Body Shop and a slick of clear gloss, and it was all good, except for the occasional need for a M.A.C Ruby Woo lipstick rescue. My make-up CLOSET (yes, things have changed a lot) is a tad more crowded now – blame it on the job! From matte lip glosses to strobes and every conceivable highlighter, contour stick and false lash, I’ve got ‘em all; call me a legit bonafide beauty junkie. You name it, I know it, have used it, own it and hoard it. And since I refuse to throw anything away, a new closet has made its way into my life, doors wide open with stacks of shelves at the ready for more beauty binging just in time for our annual Cosmopolitan Beauty Awards. We’re serious about knowing what’s out there and have tried and tested every one of your many nominees to shortlist the best products in the market. When Team Cosmo says this is the Big Beauty Issue, we REALLY mean it. Dig in and enjoy our pages of beauty loot absolutely worth the splurge!

Till next month...
