Hold a pair of dumb­bells at your shoul­ders, and stand with your feet hip­width apart.

Push your hips back and bend your knees to lower into a squat, keep­ing your chest up­right. In one fluid mo­tion, push through your heels to stand up while press­ing the dumb­bells di­rectly over­head.

Slowly lower the weights, re­turn­ing them to your shoul­ders.

That’s 1 rep. Do up to 4 sets of 12 reps, 2 to 3 times a week.
