A lit­tle bit about your­self:

“I’m Lithua­nian, an in­ter­na­tional hair­styl­ist and love na­ture, yoga, run­ning, plant-based food, trav­el­ing and learn­ing. I don’t like gyms or any kind of hair or nail ex­ten­sions, di­ets, sug­ary drinks and shop­ping malls. As you can tell, I love vis­it­ing dif­fer­ent parts of the world and prac­tis­ing yoga.”

When did you get into yoga?

“Around four years ago.”

How often do you practise it?

“At least five times a week.”

How has it changed you?

“With­out yoga, I would be a com­pletely dif­fer­ent hu­man be­ing. It has given me so much and has made me feel so much bet­ter, both emo­tion­ally and phys­i­cally. ”

What are some of parts of the world you have prac­ticed yoga?

“My favourite place was Pur­ple Val­ley in Goa, In­dia, fol­lowed by New York City, Lon­don and, Ber­lin.”

Where do you prac­tice yoga in Dubai?

“I go to Ash­tanga Yoga.”

What is the most dif­fi­cult part about prac­tic­ing yoga?

“Each time can feel dif­fer­ent. Some­times, your body is too tired to ac­tu­ally practise... there are many ob­sta­cles, most of which are re­lated to the phys­i­cal body. Also, I’m not nat­u­rally flex­i­ble so, it takes me a long time to open up cer­tain ar­eas. You just have to lis­ten to your body and go slowly. But once you push your­self, you’re re­warded for the rest of the day. ”

Which part of the world would you like to travel to next?

“I’d love to travel to Cal­i­for­nia, Cape Town and New Zea­land. My next sto, though, is def­i­nitely Bali.”

What is the strangest place you’ve prac­ticed yoga?

“There’s no place too strange for me to practise yoga. I al­ways find my­self stretch­ing in the mid­dle of the day, whether it’s queu­ing at the gro­cery store, at work, or on a long plane ride. The more yoga I do, the more love, peace and kind­ness I feel. Breathe in. Breathe out.”
