i’m just gonna say it: The first half of this year felt a bit like an en­ter­tain­ment desert at a mo­ment when we needed the dis­trac­tion of #con­tent more than ever. (Like, the in­escapable suc­cess of a doc­u­men­tary about a mul­leted man and his tigers could *only* have oc­curred in such a time of need.)

The shows and movies we’d been so freak­ing ex­cited about were put on hold, whether be­cause of pauses in film­ing or hope­ful pro­duc­tion com­pa­nies wait­ing to have ma­jor ~the­atri­cal re­leases~.
