Archway Tower, London

Design Middle East - - Talking Point -

Vantage Point Archway Tower is a 17-storey, 59m building completed in 1963. The building was refurbished in 2016 and the existing façade over-clad with 3,000sqm of Dekton Danae. Re-cladding of the main element of the tower resulted in the removal of the existing concrete panels and its replacement with solid Dekton rainscreen cladding and spandrel panels. The recladding has facilitated the reuse of the building for the residential purpose. It has also significantly enhanced the appearance of the old tower, giving it a distinctive appearance and positively impacting the urban landscape.
