asos.com What's your favourite piece from your new collection? Every piece has a story and each becomes my favourite for the time being. Once it's handmade I can move onto the next piece. What's your biggest source of inspiration? Meeting people – I love listening to their stories. Every collection is always inspired by where I was and who I visited at the time. What item are you lusting over right now? The new Loree Rodkin bracelet that she just finished making, I called her before I came here and she said it's just one piece. What item would be in your fantasy cupboard? I have my eye on a baby blue leather giant size Hermès Birkin that I have my eye on. If you could dress like anyone, who would it be? Scarlett Johansson, she's gorgeous and elegant. What would you be if you weren't a designer? A chef. If I'm stressed and have a block when putting a collection together I take a whole day off and cook, it calms me down. In three words, describe the style in Dubai Stylish, modern and exotic. What's your favorite store to visit in Dubai? Eye boutique in The Dubai Mall have managed to change the world of optical in Dubai from what it was and what it will be in the future; they're very anti-logo and that makes me excited because its shows that Dubai is ready to move to the next phase in terms of fashion, it's toning down and moving away from monogramming.
