Did you know you can layer fragrances? That the same scent smells different on every skin and that your perfume, once applied should last at least eight hours? These are just some of the fascinating facts a very lucky group of ladies got to experience over breakfast with French perfumer, Initio Parfums Privés. A master class was held by Initio Brand Director Yvan Jacqueline, at The Opera Gallery in DIFC where all ladies got the sniff, spritz and sample the selection of perfumes in their most pure form.

The perfume range has two lines, the Absolutes, with four scents, and the Magnetic blends which come in three scents. Worn alone or layered, they allow the wearer the luxurious option of creating their very own bespoke fragrance.

Initio’s Artistic Director Nadia explains: "From the five senses, smell is the most important language after the verbal communication. Men and women are manipulated by odors because the sense of smell is directly connected with our Limbic system in the brain. The place where all our emotions are located.”

The perfumes are a result of many years of research by Master Perfumers and scientists who collaborated together to make this enigmatic range of scents.

The range is currently available in Dubai at Saks 5th Avenue, Burjuman Centre and Atelier Perfumery, Galleria Mall and in Abu Dhabi at Atelier Perfumery Dalma Mall and

Tryano, Yas Mall. They are also available in four Paris Gallery outlets across Saudi Arabia: Red Sea Mall, Sultan Mall, Rashid Mall and Granada Mall.
