- Details: ME IBIZA | Urbanizacion S'Argamassa 153, 07840 Santa Eulalia del Río, | Islas Baleares, | Spain | (+34) 912 764747 | melia.com Words: Carmel Gill

S et in a crystal blue bay with chic boho interior and a friendly, upbeat vibe, the ME Ibiza is your go-to for a sophisticated take on all the fun of this Baleraic paradise. Located on the north-eastern shore of the island near cool hotspot Santa Eulalia, the hotel is around 20 minutes from Ibiza Town and its notorious party scene. Ask for the Mode Room and take in the endless views of the ocean while soaking up the sounds from the resident DJ, directly from your private balcony. A rainforest shower complete with Apivita organic products (the face wash leaves your skin silky-smooth) and a light that turns your room pink will transcend you into your own spa-like haven quicker than you can say Pacha. If you want to up the luxury-ante, then the Suite ME is for you – complete with a private pool, terrace and personal butler, not forgetting a complimentary boat trip to neighbouring island, Formentera. The bubbly breakfast at restaurant Salt & Sea, located next to the hotel pool, is definitely worth getting out of bed before 11am for – opt for the eggs Benedict and a side of the delicious selection of cold cuts. We recommend booking ahead for a special dinner for two at sophisticated restaurant The Rooftop and enjoy the tapas plates and Spanish delicacies. If that isn’t enough to tempt you, the hotel sits next door to the famous Nikki Beach Club, or how about booking the ME private jet to fly you to nearby islands or book a private yacht to take you around the coast of the white isle. When the late nights take their toll, settle back in the SkinC Spa on the rooftop for a personalised massage or work off the patatas bravas at the on-site gym. One week here just isn’t enough, we’re already scheduling dates for our next visit.
