Sheikha

Sheikha, meaning a wife of a Sheikh or leader of a community, challenges traditional Bedouin norms. Throughout history, Bedouin cultures have lived on patriarchal systems, stripping women from any power or authority. So I created this character that symbolises female empowerment and a reversal of gender roles, portraying a female who dominates her village.
