What does your morning beauty routine look like?

My morning routine consists of washing my face with warm water and then applying a toner. I alternate between Sisley Paris Grapefruit Toning Lotion and the Glow Tonic by Pixi. Next, I pat on a vitamin C serum by SkinCeuticals and my favourite eye serum by La Prairie. Then I use a moisturiser, eye cream and sunscreen to finish off.

Does your beauty routine differ during Ramadan?

My beauty routine doesnʼt drastically change during Ramadan. The only difference is that I use an extra hydrating moisturiser to help make up for the lack of water during the day.

What can we always find in your bag?

I always have the Dior Lip Sugar Scrub balm, a matte nude lipstick such as Givenchyʼs Le Rouge Mat in shade Nude Androgyne (110) and the Armani Power Fabric concealer touch-ups throughout the day.

I absolutely love my weekly masking sessions and my vanity shelf is full of all kinds of masks but the kind of masks I always gravitate towards are clay or charcoal masks as well as buffing masks. My favourites are Cliniqueʼs City Block Purifying Mask and Sisleyʼs Gentle Facial Buffing Cream.

Which masks are you a fan of and why? If you had to choose three beauty products to live by what would they be and why?

The three skincare products I canʼt live without are an eye cream, sunscreen and night oils. These are the products that have really changed my skin for the better. As for makeup, it has to be concealer, mascara and eyeliner.

I used to use Escadaʼs Magnetism throughout my high school and university years but now I love to mix and layer my fragrances. During the day, I like to spray Gabrielle by Chanel, Nomad by Chloé or Souffle De Soie by Dior.

I prefer to go a little heavier with Poison Girl by Dior, Black Opium by YSL or My Burberry Black by Burberry.

Which fragrance do you choose for daytime? What about your evening scent? Talk us through your hair ritual – any products you can’t live without?

ways forget to use hair masks at home even though I have a lot of them, but I love getting conditioning treatments done every few months at the salon.

What are some of the best hair tips you’ve picked up along the way?

I have the kind of hair that has to either be straightened or curled otherwise it is a wavy mess. So, the best thing I invested for my hair is the LʼOréal Steam Pod straightener. It uses steam with the flat iron which helps decrease the damage. It has really helped keep my hair healthy even though I use a lot of heat.

What do you consider a makeup faux pas?

I think everyone should just have fun with makeup and do whatever works for them,

even if it is technically against the rules. But I do have to say dark lip liner with bright lipstick is a no for me.

What does your pre-bedtime nightly ritual look like?

If I have a full face of makeup on, I make sure to double cleanse with a cleansing oil such as the Erborian Solid Cleansing Oil before my usual face wash. Then I tone with the Ole Henriksen Glow2OH Dark Spot Toner which is a great toner I recently started using. I then apply the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo+ cream to help with my dark spots. After applying my eye serum and eye cream, I then apply a night oil which has really helped hydrate my skin. I used to be a little wary of using oils since I have oily to combination

skin but it has done wonders for me. I alternate between the Murad Multi-Vitamin Infusion Oil and Juno by Sunday Riley.

I always go to Marquee Salon and before the lockdown I had recently loved going to the new Snob Salon.

Where is your favourite hair salon in Dubai? Where do you go for your nails?

and the new Snob Salon.

The Nail Spa

We canʼt wait to go and get a facial, where would you recommend?

I like to go to clinics rather than spas to get facials. My go-to clinic is The Nova Clinic.

What is on your current beauty wish list?

I still need to get myself a facial Gua Sha as I have heard great things about using it.
