Welcome to The Reset Issue.

I would like to thank an incredible team for digging deep in 2022 and supporting us to achieve all that we have – championing incredible women and with continued growth across both Emirates Woman and Emirates Man. Thank you for always choosing the uncrowded extra mile to demonstrate your strengths and for retaining a focus on quality over quantity in all aspects, it is truly appreciated and what we do daily would not be possible without each of you.

For January’s cover we partnered with Buccellati, a family-run fine jewellery house founded in 1919, still using centuries-old Italian techniques to create its incredible pieces. Inspired by Renaissance and Venetian designs, each piece is uniquely engraved as a mark of the artisans’ meticulous hand-craftsmanship you’ll see in The Fine Craft on page 12. In this issue you will find everything to enable you to kick off the New Year with confidence from body, mindset and goal setting. With a laser focus on all things wellness and fitness related as you might expect for January, we look at game-changing activewear in The Edit on page 24, interview Dr Simoné Laubscher, co-founder of global super brand WelleCo in The Wellness Guru on page 60 and we speak to Dr Augustinus Bader on how to ensure you’re taking optimal care of your skin in The Skin Guru on page 54.
