Kingdom Hearts III
Fourteen years. That’s how long it’s taken Square Enix to release the sequel to Kingdom Hearts, a nostalgiafilled action RPG that sees protagonist Sora, joined by Donald, Goofy and Mickey, all fend off evil forces that are taking over the universe known as Heartless.
Kingdom Hearts III picks up from the ending of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance and seeks to tie up the loose ends of its vast and convoluted plot lines. The game retains its classic hack-and-slash battle system but is refreshed with new Keyblades, spells, combos, summonable characters and Attraction Flow — super moves inspired by Disney theme park rides.
Out in January. Playstation4 and Xbox One.
