Dubai uni­ver­sity to have smart build­ing op­er­a­tions

Se­cu­rity de­sign spe­cial­ists Res­trata has ap­pointed Mor­gan Rees in the newly cre­ated role of global head of mon­i­tor­ing and re­sponse. He will be re­spon­si­ble for evolv­ing the busi­ness by in­tro­duc­ing new prod­ucts and ex­pand­ing its ser­vice of­fer­ing glob­ally. Rees will bring his ex­ten­sive ex­pe­ri­ence gained from var­i­ous se­nior and ad­vi­sory roles within the tech­nol­ogy, off­shore, mar­i­time, and travel risk man­age­ment in­dus­tries to the com­pany and its man­age­ment team. Res­trata of­fers a range of con­sul­tancy, track­ing, mon­i­tor­ing, re­sponse and tech­nol­ogy ser­vices to give clients a com­plete suite when look­ing to build re­silience to the risks ev­ery busi­ness faces. Cur­rently the com­pany of­fers its prod­ucts and ser­vices in the UK, Europe, Mid­dle East, Africa and Asia Pa­cific re­gions with the aim to ex­pand its reach fur­ther afield as part of Mr Rees’s role. Rees said: “I’m join­ing Res­trata dur­ing an ex­cit­ing time for the com­pany. My main fo­cus will be grow­ing both what we of­fer and where we can de­liver it. Some plans are al­ready in mo­tion, with part­ner­ship con­ver­sa­tions started, which will in turn strengthen our core of­fer­ing.” He will be based be­tween both the Aberdeen and Dubai of­fices.
