QBG in­ducted as BIFM cor­po­rate mem­ber

QBG FM has op­er­a­tions in the UAE and Oman

UAE-based QBG Fa­cil­i­ties Man­age­ment has be­come the new­est mem­ber of the Bri­tish In­sti­tute of Fa­cil­i­ties Man­age­ment (BIFM) as a cor­po­rate mem­ber. “The fa­cil­i­ties man­age­ment mar­ket in UAE is evolv­ing and QBG is de­vel­op­ing its of­fer in re­sponse to these chang­ing mar­ket re­quire­ments”, said QBG’s FM and com­mer­cial di­rec­tor Sara Mom­taz noted.

“As the pro­fes­sional body for the FM sec­tor, BIFM sup­ports FM pro­fes­sion­als as well as pro­mot­ing the pro­fes­sion. We are ex­cited to be as­so­ci­ated with the In­sti­tute and look for­ward to work­ing to­gether to de­velop QBG and the FM pro­fes­sion in UAE.”

Neil Everitt, BIFM’s se­nior in­ter­na­tional busi­ness de­vel­op­ment man­ager said: “We are com­mit­ted to sup­port­ing the de­vel­op­ment of work­place and FM pro­fes­sion­als and are keen to col­lab­o­rate with other stake­hold­ers to build aware­ness of the im­pact and value of the pro­fes­sion.

“As BIFM and in our forth­com­ing in­car­na­tion as the In­sti­tute of Work­place and Fa­cil­i­ties Man­age­ment, IWFM, we look for­ward to work­ing with QBG and a range of or­gan­i­sa­tions to take this work for­ward.”

Wel­com­ing the move, Janet McAvin­nie, Chair of the BIFM for UAE Chap­ter looks for­ward to col­lab­o­rat­ing with QBG on com­mon aims across the UAE.
