Bee’ah Group launches new Solid Recovered Fuel facility

Bee’ah Group launched Bee’ah Recycling’s - Bee’ah Group’s waste processing and material recovery business - new Solid Recovered Fuel (SRF) facility.

The first of its kind in the region, this plant will be dedicated to processing commercial residue waste into a high quality alternative green fuel for cement factories.

Khaled Al Huraimel, group CEO, Bee’ah, said: “The SRF is an addition to 10 other recycling facilities at Bee’ah Recycling’s integrated complex, bringing us closer to our target of zero waste to landfill in Sharjah by 2022. The facility is also supporting net-zero emissions goals by producing green, lowemission alternative fuel from commercial waste.”
