He pre­vi­ously spent 14 years with the Vir­gin Group, work­ing closely with Sir Richard Bran­son as a Board Di­rec­tor of the Vir­gin Travel Group. Dubai Air­ports is among the world's largest air­port op­er­a­tors. Play­ing the or­gan is among Grif­fiths' pas­sions and ear­lier this year he played the or­gan at the mass led by Pope Fran­cis.
