WEEKENDS WITH MY GIRLS My sister Radhika Khanna, who’s a designer, and my nieces, 15-year-old Ojasvi and 10-year-old Saumya, live in NYC, too. On weekends when I’m not working, we enjoy breakfasts together at some simple restaurant followed by a movie and maybe a long drive. PLAYING BY THE BOOK My favourite book is Jonathan Livingston Seagull. My brother gave it to me when I was about 30. The seagull wants to fly and everyone says it is a disease to fly, so I decided I wanted that disease. It was a decade later that I opened Junoon in New York. I also never tire of reading cookbooks. I read them like novels.
