ARAB TOUCH
Michael Kors has released a range of kaftans and handbags designed especially for the Middle East, featuring graphic prints and floral embellishment. The updates to the classic range of handbags are perfect for summer nights in the UAE. The collection, including the Selma satchel, Dh1,780, will be available in May.
S*UCE OPENS IN FOUR SEASONS
One of my favourite UAE boutiques has just opened its newest branch at the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah. The quirky luxury boutique chain – which already had five stores around Dubai and one in Abu Dhabi – will have a beachside feel to its latest store. Expect contemporary international beachwear and swimwear brands such as Rhode Resort and Sea NY. As well as a dedicated kids’ area (a first in any of S*uce’s mainline stores), there’s also a selection of sunglasses, including Hadid Eyewear (Gigi and Bella’s sister Alana’s new brand). The beauty and lifestyle section (again a first for S*uce) will stock skincare and make-up, like Gisou Honey Infused Hair Oil. You’ll also find homeware and gifts such as candles and accessories.
COLOURFUL CA PSULE
I love Ted Baker’s new Cottoned On collection. The fashion-forward capsule collection includes strong shapes and architectural designs – something we wouldn’t usually expect to see from the high-street brand. The range comes in bright citrusy colours with exaggerated pleats, voluminous bell sleeves, flounced ruffled trims and coldshoulder cutouts. I love this direction for the brand!
