The UAE’s music festival season has officially rolled out and there’s a concert every kind of music lover can tune into this weekend. The who’s who of Filipino music are descending upon Dubai at the One Music X music festival at Dubai Amphitheat­re today. Pop-rock singer Yeng Constantin­o (above), rock band Silent Sanctuary and singers KZ Tandingan and Rico Blanco are some of the confirmed acts at the show that also has a few surprise performers up its sleeve. PaRUS Internatio­nal Music Fest at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel’s Events Arena. The event that ends tomorrow will feature Kazakh pop group A’Studio, Ukrainian singer Loboda and Lithuanian-Russian actress Kristina Orbakaite. EDM fans, rejoice! Sensation, the travelling dance festival, is set to white out Meydan on November 10 with its all-white dress code and host of acrobats and entertaine­rs. This fourth edition of the event’s Dubai leg will feature Steve Angello plus Danny Avila, Sunnery James, Ryan Marciano, Don Diablo, Sam Feldt, MC Gee, and Sensation’s resident DJ Mr. White. At Barasti, Sunsets Music Festival, the free beachside fest, is on until tomorrow. DJ Duke Dumont ( I Need You, Ocean Drive) headlines; DJs play from a floating stage in the sea.
