A SLEUTH AND A STICK
Children’s stage show Stick Man is showing at Madinat Theatre from January 17-20. Based on Julia Donaldson’s bestselling children’s book, the West End production centres around a stick man and the adventures he has one morning after he sets off for a morning jog. While elementary schoolers have the Stick Man show to keep them occupied, adults can enjoy some elementary sleuthing and mystery of their own at Sherlock – a Play at The Junction from January 18-20. This local production by The Hive and Tall Tales production will see Arthur Conan Doyle’s legendary detective Sherlock Holmes and his trusted friend Dr Watson played by a multicultural cast. The play reimagines Conan Doyle’s stories and centres around Holmes and Watson trying to crack a case that could destroy London and cost Sherlock his life. 7.30pm daily, with a matinee show on Saturday at 2.30pm.
